About
Marco Wirtz deals with clients in the firm’s core areas of commercial and employment law. He mainly assists international companies in cross-border matters such as employment law, secondments, debt collection, commercial contracts and litigation. Marco also regularly assists foreign companies in setting up a branch or subsidiary in Belgium.
Marco obtained his Master’s degree in European Law from Maastricht University in 2011 and subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Belgian Law (Hasselt University, 2012).
Marco worked for several years as a research assistant at the University of Maastricht and taught European contract law at the University of Hasselt. He has also acted as an arbitrator and is the author of a contribution to the reference book Duiding Internationaal Privaatrecht (Larcier, 2014).
Marco advises clients in Dutch, German and English.
Marco was admitted to the bar in 2012 and is a co-founder of the firm.
